fronts are antiques The hat is a piece in the fashionable Georgian Nivernois cut, trimmed in silver and black silk. Lieutenant Sandford has chosen his colours to stand for the 18th century colours of the Tory. It's a suitable choice for a King's man in the service of Sir John Johnson. Accompanying Lieutenant Sandford in his rounds is Mr. Baxter, in striking black and red, a good match as the lieutenant's valet.
