Winter Party 2001

Winter Party

'Tis an annual tradition, when the snows melt and the ice on the River St. Lawrence breaks, the time comes for the Winter Party. Taking place in late March the members of the King's Royal Yorkers and guests from the Northern Brigade gather to toast the King and the upcoming campaign season.

Held at historic Fort York in Toronto Canada, the winter party is generally a simple affair under a simple roof.

The ladies are always charming and there is often a new coat or hat sported by the gentlemen. After dinner there are toasts, and the party commences with some country dancing and music provided by the Gin Lane. After some lively dance and a few rounds of rum, the mob is once again ready to take on the rebels!
